Help! - Just started a tutorial downloaded (about creating
web pages) wefrom MS website and got to the point of
creating a photo gallery. I have a liscenced copy of
frontpage 2002 and cannot find - anywhere - the
component. tutorial says to use the insert - web
component - photo gallery. First of all, there is no "web
component", only "component", and there is no photo
gallery (or slide show). I have used the Help, MS website
for questions. It's not like it's the first time I've
used Office programs - Please, if anyone has any info let
me know.

Oh my gosh, Thomas - it does say 2000 in the help/about
menu. Does this mean that I have an illegal CD? How can
they hand these out at Microsoft seminars and label them
2002? The CD actually has "genuine", "Microsoft",
the "puzzle" logo burned right into the CD! More
importantly, is there a way to add the photo gallery
feature? Can I fix this? I updated from the MS website,
so shouldn't this install the newer features? Sorry to
ramble...

However if the menu has "Component" only, then it is
FP2000 To be sure check Help | About

Well it is possible for MS to have received a mislabeled shipment of CDs for the specific seminar.

Sorry, there is no way to add any of the FP2002 features to FP2000.

Mislabled shipment - hummmm... OK, well, thanks for your
help. At least I know I'm not crazy. I spent the better
of a day trying to make that sucker work. Now I can move
on.
