Apologies in advance if this is the wrong group to post this question in.
I am trying to find an Access 2000 template to organise my photo collection.
I have all my photos neatly organised on my hard drive under My Documents /
My Pictures / Sources, the sources being Camera, Phone, Emailed, Scanned
Images.
Under each source I have them filed by date taken.
I have previously used JASC Photo Album 5, which has the facility to assign
NESTED keywords (or categories) to the photos. However, this product is no
longer supported and the newer offerings from Corel do not have this
facility. I am evaluating 2 or 3 other products. (I don't like Picassa)
Since I have some experience with Access 2000, I thought I would try to find
a suitable template, if such a thing exists.

Thanks Arvin.

I have had a look at that and it seems very neat for importing the photos.
It would appear that I need to create a separate table for each picture
folder on my hard drive or have I missed something?
Did you intend it as a basis for my developing my own database?

If your Pictures are in a main folder with subfolders, just choose the main
folder and it will read the subfolders. It will however put all of them in 1
table. IIRC, If you chose the C:\ root, it will actually ready every image
file on your hard drive. It reads these file types:

"xls", "JPG", "PCD", "PCX", "WMF", "EMF", "DIB", "BMP", "ICO", "EPS", "PCT",
"DXF", "CGM", "CDR", "TGA", "GIF", "PNG", "WPG", "DRW"
