Phishing Filter not working?

Does anybody know if the phishing filter is working in IE7?

In Vista, I get the message: Phishing Filter cannot check this website
because the Microsoft online service is temporarily unavailable.

If I switch to XP, on which I am also using IE7, the phishing check works
OK.

Then I go back to Vista and get the same unavailable message.

TIA for any answers.

Hermit,

There are specific and discussed times when the phishing filter does not
work in IE7.

Have you verified if the above could be the source?

Although, you suggest (not certain because you did not specifically share)
that you are dual booting, if so, the true source is something else...

And yes, Vista's Phishing Filter is properly functioning.

I am not sure what you mean by "specific and discussed times".

I changed from Vista to XP and back again to Vista within 5 minutes, and the
results were:

Vista IE7 - not available
XP IE7 - working OK
Vista IE7 - not available.

The same thing happens this morning, so it seems obvious that the Phishing
check in Vista IE7 is broken.
