Sometimes when I create a Excel spreadsheet and delete cells borders will
remain and I am unable to delete them.

HI mtrapani,

Borders are a part of formatting so you can't delete them
like you do with the cells data. You have to highlight the
cell or cells then go to Format>Cells>Border tab and select
no borders. Alternatively you can right click the highlighted cells
and select format cells directly and there is also a selection
of borders buttons on the formatting toolbar usually
just to the left of the the fill and text colour buttons.

I've been doing that and I still have the borders...formatting....I tried
fooling it by telling it to make them "white", tried tool bar,
everything.....my project is perfect ....after hours of work...... if I could
just get rid of the stupid borders!
