Pesky Update Notice

I keep getting the same notice of an update to install and download.

MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (KB927978)
A vulnerability exists in the XMLHTTP ActiveX control within Microsoft XML
Core Services that could allow for remote code execution

I have installed it a few times, but shortly after it has completed, the
notice pops up again.

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing ?
The list shows it as successfully installed.

Go to the Windows updates site and run Custom updates not express and there
uncheck the check box for the MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (KB927978) and
select the Sub-box to not show this update again click install to let your
history record this updates as unwanted in the database or History and close
the windows updates page.
Clear you caches and delete Temp then shut down your computer and Restart
and see if the Pesky will pop-up again or gone.

That seemed to have corrected the problem.

I was ready to "Hit Any Key" with my hammer.

I didn't realize my first "post" went through .. it showed "deleted"
 
You are welcome, it seems sometimes MS more generous to give you an extra
spoon in updates LOL.
