Personal.xlsm file

I can't find and open the Personal.xlsm... thus I can't edit my macros.
Help says to 'Unhide' .. .but how--

hi
on the view tab in the window group, click unhide on the ribbon. you should
get a popup. select your personal.xlsm.

I feel so dum... thanks a lot, I just could not see it and it was right
under my nose.
