Eric

Hello,

One of my users (working from home) comes to the office once a week and
brings/imports his Outlook data into his Outlook on his office computer.
When you look at the folder list, there are 3 identical Personal folders. Is
there a way to remove 2 out of the 3.

Thank you.

Eric.

Greyed out on all three? What if he goes to Tools | Options | Mail Setup |
Data Files -- does he see all three listed there and if so can he remove the
ones he doesn't want?

Empty? What version of Outlook are you using? What if you try creating a
new profile for them in Outlook? Control Panel | Mail | Show Profiles...

It's version 2003. Would I lose email accounts settings/password by creating
a new profile?

Yes. You'd have to recreate your accounts. However, the Office Save My
Settings Wizard should be able to help.

I solved this very easily. I had 4 additional duplicate personal Folders and
had no idea where they came from. Running Outlook 2002.

I highlighted the Folder and used File/Data File management

That opened a window "Outlook Data File" which lists all the Folders and you
can rename, add, DELETE, them from here. Be carfull not to delete the file
your Mail Account relates to.
