Persistent registry with EWF

Hi

I'm about to use our current platform with CF card instead og a HD. I'm
planing to use a CF card with 2 partionen.
The first contains the XPe image and is protected by the EWF and is read
only. The second partition is read/write for genral data usage.
Now I want to be able to store new/alternated registry settings and files
used by XPe.
I can use the EWF Manager Application or the EWF Api to commit changes to
the protected volume.

Is there any other ways of doing this? (Like WindowsCE, where parts of the
registry is persistent on another volume !!!)

Is it possible, from the Api, to only commit selected things. (Only changes
from my application schould be commited nad nothing else) ?

/Thomas

and for the record: which filesystem is best to use on CF and EWF (NTFS,
FAT32 ??)????
