permissions on mapped drive??

M

murphys

I am logging in to an xp machine and a Vista machine using the same
credentials off my sbs server.

I created a shared folder on the xp machine, mapped to it on the vista
machine, but cannot save anything to it on the vista machine.

i have my user creds on the ntfs permissions so I can't work out whats going
on.

thanks

Even you use the same credentials in both computer doesn't mean the
credentials have right to save. Check the permissions in the Security tab
and make sure the credentials is in the list. Or check this search result.
Please post back with the result.

Vista Permission IssuesCan I assume the external drive used to be connecting
to other computer and you just re-connect it the the Vista? Check the
permission using this command: . ...
