Permission on local workstation

Good Afternoon,
We have a few win2k sp4 workstations that dont give us the
permission tab when trying to set permissions on specific
files. No folders or files whatsoever show the permissions
tab on them. I have never seen this before and the
majority of wokstations here allow us to do this. Any
ideas?

Is the drive NTFS?

Maybe because some are FAT32 and some are NTFS?

go to the "DOS" prompt and use the convert utility. It
will as you for some parameters. You will have to reboot
for the conversion to take affect...
