Permission Inheritance on Objects

In Active Directory, I have some objects that are not
inheriting permissions even though I have it set to "This
object and all child object" at the top of the OU. I have
had to go into each object and select the Inherit
permissions box (it is only happening to some user
objects) Also, I have a couple objects that I select the
box to Inherit, it updates the permissions, then the next
day, the permissions are back to the old ones and the
Inherit box is not checked. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If the objects we are talking about are part of any system groups, then you
are seeing AdminSDholder process at work, which resets permissions on
objects that belong to any system specific group. See

Thank you. I checked out the article you attached and I
think it is what my problem is. Just one question about
it, it doesn't list Server Operators as a group that will
affect the objects, this would be one of the system groups
though, correct?
