Running Office 2003 Pro.
When deleting a mail message how does one make sure that it is not
recoverable??
I use "Eraser" to permanently delete files, is there a similar utility
for Outlook mail messages??

If you delete the messages, empty the Deleted Items folder and then compact
your PST file, the messages should be gone. Right click on the root of your
Personal Folders, choose Properties, click Advanced, click Compact

So, do I need to just leave the PST file in "Compact" mode or do I
need to periodically compact the PST file to ensure the messages are
really gone?

Thanks....
