Permanently deleting files

I am looking for software that can permanently delete
files. I want something that not only permanently
deletes a whole hard drive or partition, but something
that also allows permanent deletion of individual files.
If it also included a recovery option for files that have
been deleted (but not permanently deleted!) that would be
great.

One product I have seen on the web is "File-Saver.com"
but I can't find any independent reviews to corroborate
its claims.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yours,

Ken

You want to delete them but then you say you want to recover them. XP
has this built in. It's called the Recycle Bin.
