Perhaps OT - Posts not threaded in Thunderbird

Egwig the Fit

When I used OE to read news posts all replies to a post were threaded
together.
Thunderbird does not seem able to do this. Is there a way to get it to
happen.
If this is an inappropriate post to this group I would be grateful to be
pointed in the right direction.
I have already searched the Mozilla site for help but was unable to find any

You should ask your question in the netscape.mozilla.thunderbird news
group. Quite heavy traffic, i.e. rapid answers, lots of expert people.

Have you tried this:

In Thunderbird select View, then select View Threads, then choose the
type of threading that you want.

It didnt seem to work the first time I tried that.
Now all is well, but I cant locate the news group you suggest.
Only netscape.public.mozilla etc. I dont think my ISP supplies your
suggested one.

You don't need your ISP. You subscribe directly :
