Performance problem on playing high definition video

hello,
I encountered a performance problem on playing HD (high definition) video on
XPe image. I just play the full HD video (1080p) that download from
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/musicandvideo/hdvideo/contentshowcase.aspx with media player.
Then, I open the view menu -> "statistics" -> "Advanced" tab and see the
result. I just check the Actual rate and Frame rate. Normally, the Frame rate
of 1080p video will be 23 fps. If there is no skipped frames the Actual rate
will be about 23 fps. After my testing, the actual rate will be about 23 fps
if I use XP professional. If I use XPe image, it will be about 20 fps. As
the result, I got the jerking video. In XP professional, its more smoothly. I
use the same VGA driver. My platform is intel U2500 + 945GM + ich7m. Can
anybody give me some advice? Thanks.

I have a similar problem with an image I created using rollup 1. In my
case, I have poor playback performance with wmv files. An image for the
same hardware made earlier with SP2 doesn't have this problem. Since
rollup 1 now includes media player 11 and media format runtime 11, I'm
guessing this has something to do with it.

I'll post back here if I find out what it is.
