Performance objects are missing

Hello,

On one of our Windows 2000 server Performance Objects for perfmon like
Logical disk are missing.
we tried to follow this note without success:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;300956

We found another note that said we have to reinstall Windows using the
repair mode.
As this server is critical for my comany business we would like to avoid
this possibility for the moment.

Someone can help me ?

You can Add/Remove them by regedit, but it's much easier to use exctrlst.exe
(Extensible Counter Listing Tool) from the resource kit to enable/ disable
the counters.

Hello Patrick,

Thanks for your answer.
We already followed all these steps and found that in exctrlst.exe utility
the counters is enable but Open Procedure is in status Not Found.

Can you help me on this ?

Thanks,
