perform action on multiple file selection in xp

w2k is able to perform an action on multiple files that
have been selected/highlighted with the mouse. I have an
action which is a batch file that is available via the
right click on file context menu that will parse all the
selected files.
My problem is that windows xp doesn't seem to do this. In
windows xp you can perform the action on one selected file
only.
Any ideas.

Have you tried locating and right-clicking the batch file, )containing the
batch-language / action), and setting its' to "compatibility mode" mode to
W2k ...or perhaps even W98 ? Might be worth a try. If your "action" batch
file isn't too complicated, perhaps it could be tweaked up, or even
rewritten.
