Perfmon Process object not listed in Add Counters dialogue - WIN2K

Some of my servers do not display the "Process" Performance object in the
Perfmon Add Counters dialogue. I've compared the perfproc.dll version
numbers and security settings on one of these servers with those on a server
that does show this object and they appear to be the same. Is there some
other DLL, registry setting or configuration file that controls whether the
Process object is exposed by Perfmon?

Thanks,
Bill

You can Add/Remove them by regedit, but it's much easier to use exctrlst.exe
(Extensible Counter Listing Tool) from the resource kit to enable/ disable
the counters.

Dave,

This is my first post to an MS Newsgroup and you hit the bullseye first time!
I had already found the exctrlst.exe utility on the MSDN website, but didn't
realize that it had this capability.

Thanks!
