I've posted this one before but obviously it has been
deleted...so here i go again:
Hello...
I am in the process of monitorring several of our servers'
hdd capacity wit perfmon.exe and MRTG.
In order to get the remaining free space of our hdd's i
added the counter for "Logical Disk" with "diskperf -y"
Some of those servers display the installed hard disks
correctly on the right side of perfmon(under: Select
Instances). However some of them have <no instances>
displayed on the right side.
Am i missing something in order to log? All servers have
ServicePack 3 and even the LoadPerf.dll is up to date to
my knowledge(7/22/03 65kb). And afaik ther KB article
concerning corrupt perf counters only applies if the
loadperf.dll is older than somewhat
from the year 2000...correct me if im wrong
KB Article - 275659
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;275659
The Event Viewer does not display any errors concerning
the Performance Monitor...
I would appreciate any help...cause it is rather urgent ;o)
kind regards,
