I keep getting this error reported on my Windows 2000 Servers within my domain. There does not seem to be any other information on this from Microsoft. Does anyone know of anything I can look at to correct this?

"The Collect Procedure for the "Tcpip" service in DLL "C:\WINNT\system32\Perfctrs.dll" generated an exception or returned an invalid status. Performance data returned by counter DLL will be not be returned in Perf Data Block. Exception or status code returned is data DWORD 0.

Are they Compaq/HP servers by any chance? Do they have Insight Manager
agents running? Probably the nic agent causing the events, just disable the
agent.

see this:

There are other reg hacks you can do to eliminate perlib event errors, just
search the KB for similar events and you can figure it out.
