Peer to Peer Problem

Computer 1 ("Jim") is XP Home. Computer 2 is XP Pro. They are in a
peer-to-peer network behind a router. Both machines can get to the
Internet fine. Computer 1 is set to static. Computer 2 receives an IP
address from the router via DHCP. Both are in the same workgroup.
Neither machine shows up in the other machine's My Network Places. The
printer on Computer 1 is shared as "printer". If I type Start | Run |
\\jim\printer from Computer 2, the printer cannot be found. If I go to
\\192.168.2.128\printer (the IP address for Computer 1), the printer IS
found and can be printed to.

The problem is acting like DNS. I think it is related to Computer 1
being static. If that's correct, then I omitted something. DNS is set to
the ISP's DNS (the same ones that were handed out by the ISP). The
default gateway is set to router's IP address. What have I overlooked?
