Peculiar toolbar problem in Outlook Express

Hi all....

I have a strange problem with the toolbar in OE.

I normally use small buttons. Whn I change to large buttons, the buttons
increase in size correctly. When I change back to small buttons, the button
height decreases, but the button width remains large, and the right-hand
button disappears off the screen. If I keep repeating the process, I get
fewer and fewer buttons visible.

Restarting OE resets the buttons to the correct small size,

It's a bug that's been around for quite some time, but MS claims they cannot
reproduce the error and therefore cannot propose a fix. There is no known
method of consistenely reproducing the problem since it only happens
randomly and closing and reopening or just changing the icon size, then
going back to the desired size will usually fix it.
