I have a relative who recently upgraded his computer to Vista Home
Premium. He installed Office 2000 afterwards, and noticed that the 'Check
for updates' engine is not compatible with Vista. Even more peculiar, when
he tried to change the Office Assistant icon, he got an error message
stating that there wasn't enough memory to do this. That can't be the case
since his system has 2GB of RAM. Plus the fact that changing the Office
Assistant icon is hardly a memory intensive procedure.
Should he chalk this up to a case of Office 2000 not being 100%
compatible with Vista?
