PDF Hyperlink

Sorry, I posted this question to the "Windows.vista.general" forum in error.
Reposting here.

I am using Access 2007 with Vista Home Premium with the database on a
network drive. I have a Hyperlink field to pdf files on the network drive.
When I click on the link, the Adobe link comes up but immediately closes.
Using the XP the hyperlinked file opens, and then remains open as desired.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Funny... my first thought was, "Post it to a Windows Vista forum".

What happens if you copy and paste the URL to an IE Browser instance?

I don't know what you mean by "copy and paste the URL to an IE Browser
instance". I tried what I think you mean and get a message that windows
cannot find the address. I have tried the same hyperlink in Excel 2007 and
Word 2007 with the same lack of success. The hyperlink does work from
Outlook 2007. Since it does work in XP but not Vista, I guess the problem
is in Vista.
