PDF files open in Japanese!

Even when I try to change the setting to open pdf files they open in Word but are total gibberish. I have no idea where to go for answers. I have a current Acrobat version. Help!

Hi,

Unless you have a pdf plug-in for MSWord....

Right-click the .pdf file, use "open with", choose Acrobat reader. Ensure
the "always use...." line is checked. Click "ok".
