pdfCreator (Google for it at the Sourceforge website). That app is
great for appending several files into one big PDF.
For complex graphics files, the combo of GhostScript, Ghostview, and
makePDF can't be beat. Ghostview can also convert a single page PDF
to an image file, it can extract a single page from a multiple page
PDF file, and can extract images from a PDF file (PDF Image Extraction
Wizard is excellent for the latter task also).
From the Print menu of any application simply "print to (a prn) file"
and let makePDF convert the prn to a PDF. If you have a ps file to
convert, just rename it as a prn file before launching makePDF.
