PDF and File Download

I have been unable to download files via Internet
Explorer, and have also not been able to open PDF files.
I beleive both issues are probably related.

File Download: When I click on a link to download a file,
the "file Download" window opens, the paper icon moves
from the globe to the folder, stating "Getting file
Information" (Normaly I would be prompted to choose where
I want to save the file.) This same thing happens when I
click on a link to a PDF file. Then I get an error
stating that the "IE was unable to open this Internet
site, requested site is either unavailable or can not be
found."

Regarding PDF I have the correct nppdf32.dll in the IE
plugins folder. I have file download enabled in Internet
Options.

FJ,

With the same IE Version using Windows ME I am having the
same problem however, it is not only with pdf files but
also other files, ie. .exe files. If you discover a
solution please let it be known.
