PDC Time Changing

I am having problems with th time on Some of my servers, I
have tryed to get the Windows 2000 PDC to go to the
internet and get the time using net time but this does not
seam to work,

I set the SNTP server and the fire wall should let it
through but how do I test it works as I changed the time
by 5 mins and it is still wrong.

In my experience even though the firewall should allow the
communication you have to setup inbound to the server over
the SNTP ports. I do not know why this is only that in
Checkpoint and in some PIX configuration it had to be
done. I used tick and tock from US NAS and setup specific
rules for the IP addresses.
