PCI OHCI compliant IEEE1394Host Controller

My machine does not detect new card as PnP. When trying
to manually install XP tells me there are no available
IEE1394 drivers. Can somebody please tell me where I can
get a copy of a suitable generic driver and also why it's
not present in my version of XP when every document I
read says it should be?

You don't indicate the processor. The usual cure is to update mainboard
and/or chipset drivers and SP1.
