I have this folder -- most of the files date from either 2001 or 2004.
FWIW, I have never used "remote assistance" and don't plan to. I'm
running XP Home SP1.

If I delete this folder, what functionality will I lose?

If I delete this folder, will my other applications and internet
configurations continue to work?

That's actually your Help & Support Center (Start/Help and Support) so you
don't want to delete it.
