Prior to upgrading to WinXP Home, WinME had no problems
turning my computer off. With XP, after I have selected
the "Turn Off" option, I am prompted with the standard
message that says it's okay to turn off my computer but I
physically have to press the power button on my tower to
do this. My hardware hasn't changed, and I haven't
touched the BIOS either. I even went sofaras to go back
to ME, and as expected, it did not have any problems
turning off my computer. Other friends of mine who have
purchased the upgrage version of WinXP Home do not
experience this problem. This has been a problem since I
first upgraded, and through all of the updates/patches
released since then. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Thx.
