I built a new machine (whitebox clone) and transferred my old hard drive from
a IBM Netvista to the new machine. It now boots till just after the XP logo
then reboots again. It can boot in Safe Mode. What do I need to do to make it
boot.

you need to do a repair install as your old hard drive contains drivers etc
for your old motherboard and hardware, this may work but you may need to do a
clean install

Start your PC in safe mode and remove all drivers from the device
manager. Reboot your computer and your machine will find all your new
hardware and install the proper drivers. You should not have any
problems.
