Try this:
1. Physically disconnect your machine from the Internet.
2. Boot it in Safe Mode.
3. Run msconfig.sys.
4. Disable each and every task under the Startup tab.
5. Click "Services".
6. Hide all Microsoft services.
7. Disable all remaining services.
8. Reboot in Normal Mode.
9. Re-enable the various disabled services and startup tasks
under msconfig selectively until you find out which one causes
your problem.

So before trying to fix it, what facts define the problem. For
example, what does Device Manager report? What problems are stored in
the system (event) log? Trying to fix this or that is called
shotgunning. Before trying to fix anything, first discover what is
failing. Posted are some of the first facts necessary before fixing
anything.

How did you remove that printer? What did the printer removing?
What does Task Manager report when system does boot?

What, exactly, was the printer driver loaded? Did you load a printer
driver intended for something such as Windows 98? Again, before
fixing anything, first learn what is wrong.

Thanks for the help I removed the printer in various ways first I had HP
support and they removed it manualy not sure if this worked so I did add
remove programs and finally deleted all HP folders. not sure if this did the
job... I may have loaded a bad file it had the option for 64 and 32 bit not
sure what one worked but I know I did try both. Not sure exactlly how to get
the info you asked for system log etc. all help is greatly appreciated. is
there anywhere I can download a xp disk I have my product key but can not
find my xp disk I could do a repair from that?

I have no idea if (or when) you fixed anything. Your post is that
vague. And if HP support removed it (and it still does not work),
then why are you not calling HP again?

Meanwhile, if you cherry pick solutions, then we all are wasting our
time. You did not know where to find system logs or Device Manage?.
So you ignored the post? That is cherry picking. If you wanted the
problem solved, then your reply is, "How do I get that information".

You are here first to learn; second to fix the problem. If you only
wanted the problem fixed, then take it to a shop and don't post here.

Meanwhile, system (event) logs, Device Manager, and other things
(including those from Pegasus) are found also by clicking on Windows
Help - or by asking for help. Do everything. Don't cherry pick.
Long before anyone can be helpful, first, you must change how you are
approaching the problem AND appreciate the #1 reason why you are
asking here for help - to learn.
