Hi.
My laptop running windows XP home had some virus/trojan infections that I
think I've removed. But now on start-up it opens an Internet Explorer
window that it trying to find a URL at http://63.246.131.130/index.htm. It
can't find the page and just sits there.
When I start up as a user with a Limited Account I also get a System Config
Utility diaolg box that says "An Access Denied error was returned while
attempting to change a service. You may need to log on using an
Administrator account to make the specified changes". And I then also get a
dialog headed "Intel(R) Configuration Service" and saying "Another wireless
LAN utility is communicting with the Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN Adapter. To
avoid conflicts , Intel's profile management features have been temporarily
disabled. To re-enable these features, first disable the other LAN utility
and the either: 1.Re-enable from PROSet's Advance Settings. 2.Resume after
a computer suspend. 3.Reboot the computer."
I'm lost with this! Can anyone help me to clear what's causing it? Thanks
in advance,
David
