PC slow but only on one user?

Hi, I have XP with 2 users. PC runs fast for one user, but incredibly slowly
for the other user. Any thoughts on why this could be. In task Manager, there
are two differences:

Fast user - Commit charge is 523/1230m
Slow user - Commit charge is 1182/1391m

On the slow user, a process called vsserv.exe seems to use much more k, up
to 50,000k.

Any help greatly appreciated.

The executable is a component of BitDefender Anti-Virus. Are both
accounts the same privilege level ? ( Admin/Limited ). Anti-Virus apps
generally have global settings that apply to all accounts the same.I
would check the Application Data settings for BitDefender on each of
the profiles and see if any differences are found.

Many thanks, I'll check that, I replaced mcafee with bitdefender a couple of
months ago and did not link the events. Thanks a lot. A.
