PC shutdown

Blackcat

Have a HP Laptop running XP PRo that has an intermitent
shutdown problem.

Running Either on Battery or just Mains the PC will QUIT
for no reason (dies,no shutdown messages)

PC will run ok if started in DOS mode & never shuts off.

Anyone else seen this problem????

Maybe the blaster worm? Get a utility from Symantec and scan your HD.
