PC Restarting?

My friend is running Windows XP Pro. All of a sudden his computer started
restarting automatically. The error that comes up says the following;

NTAUTHORITY\SYSTEM initiated by PRC.

It gives him 60 seconds to save his work and then it restarts. I have
unticked the box under System failure which says to automatically restart
the computer when there is a system failure. Tried running system restore
but it won't load. Just wondering if anyone knows what this error is and how
to fix this. Thanks all.
