PC not recognizing F6 to install third party drivers

Building a new PC and decided to try SATA Hd's but so far no luck with
install.
I have the following that I am working with
ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe MB
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ Processor
2 SATA WD 74G Raptor
2 Maxtor SATA II/300 200 GB

Every time I get to the screen that says to hit F6 to install third party
drivers and I do it just continues with the install and says I have no hard
drives available. I have changed keyboards with are PS2 and trier F lock on
and off. Tried 2 different XP install CD's and a set of install floppies.
Running out of things to try. Any hints would be appreciated.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't see any mention of having
a floppy disk with the SATA driver files on it in the drive
when you hit the F6 key. You have to go to the Asus support
site, download the correct SATA drivers for your motherboard
and put them on a floppy disk. Put that disk in the drive and
then hit the F6 key.

Try the fourth entry in this list of drivers.

Silicon Image 3132 Serial ATA Driver V1.0.0.9 for Windows
2000/XP/2003.(WHQL)

Good luck
