Re-posted as several posts haven't appeared?

My PC is set to go into standby and later hibernate but it keeps waking. The
WOL is disabled in the BIOS but is there a box in network configuration I
have to disable.

This may not even be the problem, I have covered my optical mouse but that
didn't fix it.

It wakes up about every 15 mins, any ideas? I can't be the only one with
this problem.

TIA.
Bob

HI..........
i recently posted a similar problem i had w standby too.....do a search
and u may find the replies.........
anywaz, my problem was that stanby was inconsistant, sometimes it would
be "off" (on standby all nite), or other times it would wake at
different times.
basically, it would work about 1/2 the time, i tried all of the tips
people gave me, and some i could just not find (the WOL)
settings....UNTIL I went into the Power Options, Power Schemes, and set
everything to NEVER......TATAHHH!!!!
so far standby has been working great!!! weeeeeeeeee
so try that. now this is working great on my Dell XPS desktop.
good luck, hope it works, let us know............
