My PC is set to go into standby and later hibernate but it keeps waking. The WOL is disabled in the BIOS but is there a box in network configuration I have to disable.

This may not even be the problem, I have covered my optical mouse but that didn't fix it.

It wakes up about every 15 mins, any ideas? I can't be the only one with this problem.

TIA.
Bob.

You might want to check the following:
Open the Network Connections folder.
Right click on the Icon for your LAN.
On the General page, click the Configure button.
In the box that pops up look for a tab titled "Power management".
Uncheck "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby".
Click OK.

You might also want to check in your Scheduled Tasks folder to
see if any of the tasks are configured to wake the computer.
Right click each task and select Properties. Look on the Settings
page for a check mark next to "Wake the computer to run this
task".
