pc crashing+IRQ conflict

I am using windows 2000 profesional with service pack 4. my comp config is
as follows :
Pentium III with one 80 gb and one 20 gb hard disk.

3 weeks back i was not able to load any OS but after getting the ram changed
i could load the OS but my system soon crashed after 1 week.even my new
cd-rw samsung was undetectable,..then the problem was soon creeping, my
system used to get hung.

Occasionally yesterday was the worse i saw all kinds of blank screen on my
comp:
1) hardware malfunction (contact ur hardware
vendor)..
2)complete blank screen u can only reset and nothing else (at this point the
monitor light blinks as if in an of state..
3)complete vertical coloured screen with greay backround...

i think its a motherboard problem ..what are ur suggestions.also i dont have
a UPS and there have been rare occasions of my comp shutting due to power
failure.how do i diagnose and rectify nthe problem.also one diagnosing tools
from www.freshdevices.com showed my comp to be performing like a 850 mhz amd
athlon an a perfomance basis..how do i
go about it.

I am getting an IRQ conflicts with these hardwares:

11 Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC
11 Intel(r) 82801AA USB Universal Host Controller
11 AC'97 Driver for Intel(r) 82801AA Controller

Can anybody tell me what I am dealing with & how to get through.

It sounds like there is the built-in video adapter and this adapter is
almost dead. Check the RAM using www.memtest.org.

Hello Kaustubh,

I know you posted this awhile back, but I thought I may
know the issue. On some motherboards, the onboard devices
somewhat share the PCI slots. You might try moving your
PCI cards to different slots to resolve any hardware
conflicts. Another thing to check is your power supply. If
it is bad and sending odd voltages, you will experience
these types of issue. I hope this helps you.
