PC crashes while browsing

Hi all.

I'm having a very irritating problem here. While browsing some websites my
computer reboots. It doesn't happen with all websites, but it does happen
with the same ones time and time again (for examply, after I login to
anandtech.com)

Everything else on the PC seems to work fine, including demanding games.

I have uninstalled IE7, and went back to IE6. Same problem. For the heck of
it I installed Firefox, same problem. Then I installed IE7 again, again, same
deal. I even had to install IE7 from a backup CD, because when I tried to
install it from the download page the PC crashed. Windows update doesn't work
anymore either. After a couple of seconds on the website I get booted...

I have a gut feeling that this *may* have something to do with a faulty
add-on, but of course it could be a million other things.

Any idea, anyone?

Thanks in advance,

Erik

Disable the IE add-ons, clear the temp and cache folders. If necessary,
get the ccleaner install file via another system (www.ccleaner.com) and use
it to clear out the temp and cache folders. Whether you leave the cookies
or not is up to you.

Perhaps also get the Firefox installer via another system, so that you can
at least google error messages or behaviour on one system.
