Greetings Everyone,
I have a real stumper. It's an xp home edition that continually reboots.
Keeps getting the error that windows did not start correctly and prompts to
boot "last know good configuration" , safe mode etc. I tryed safe mode and
she'll boot up to the "c:\windows\system32\Mup.sys" file,then she'll reboot
to a bios flash screen all over again. I disconnected all components except
HDD with same results. Tryed recovery console with a "CHKDSK" with 1 error
found. Still reboots. Replaced the whole system board, cpu & memory. Still
reboots. Replaced power supply. Still reboots. Ghosted the HDD over to a new
HDD. Still reboots. I need the application and data from this system. How
can I replace the OS without effecting the apps and data, or do you have
another suggestion?? Many thanks in advance.
