PC client hangs and all network drops

I have aa Windows 2003 server and 30 clients (domain)...
The whole network section (switch) is dropping when a client computer
hangs...
any idea ?
Also have intermitent network drops (couple of secs)...

I would check the computer for any spyware. These cases may help,
