pbl inserting links

J

Joseph

Hi everyone,

In OE it is possible to insert links using the insert menu and obtain a nice
and tidy link
as you can create in msword or excel:
<A
href="http://www.microsoft.com/uk/office/outlook/prodinfo/default.mspx">Outlook</A>

But how do you do that in Microsoft Outlook?
AFAIK I'm stuck with that:
www.microsoft.com/uk/office/outlook/prodinfo/default.mspx

There does not seem to be an option to insert a link with the text I want to
asssign to that link rather than the rather long and obscure links you can
sometimes get.

TIA

Joseph

What version of Outlook are you using and are you using Word or Outlook as
the e-mail editor?

Should be there then. Make sure you are looking at the full menus. Otherwise
reset the Toolbar through View-> Toolbars-> Customize...
