paypal buttons not responding in IE6

Pam

I have the weirdest problem - I have always had paypal buttons on my sites
(and they've always worked)- and now (after buying a new computer) all of
the sudden I find that my paypal buttons on my website go to a totally blank
page - nothing even in the url address - now if I load up firefox, they work
ok and go directly where they are supposed to go....anyone have any ideas
why I can't get to paypal on my buttons thru IE?

the url is http://www.tlc-naturally.com/oils-a-k.htm

thanks for any help

this is sooooo strange - someone else told me the same thing....now what's
really strange is that if I go to someone else's site who has a paypal
button - I go immediately to paypal.... but on sites "I've" published - I
only get a blank page - icons and everything show up - just nothing in the
status bar - nor address bar and if I put a link in the address bar - it
also goes nowhere - it's like a dead browser. However, if I open up firefox
and type in my link, goes right to paypal...

I've been on line with my hosting server - 1and1 - and they too have no
clue - they've run a check on my info, they can go to paypal from my buttons
in my website....but we're all stuck as to why I can't get there - I've
cleared cookies/cache/ turned on and off my router, unblocked popups....

please anyone...help me with this - it does the same thing in ANY website
I've published with fp2003 ... should I move this to fp?

thanks Tom - at least I know someone is listening :)

thought I'd post this ANSWER !!!
ok, since it was JUST ME .. I decided to start shutting down virus stuff...I
started with Avast ... no help there...then I shut down spycatcher....tried
my site .. bingo - immediately thru to paypal.

Now...spaycatcher seems to be a great program.....but I guess it's going to
get tossed if I can't figure out which item in hte application actions is
safe to have.... I've got two that it says to remove - the first one says
Recommended removal - spyware - remove and the second is a
dialer-switchdialer - spyware - remove ... then I have 3 that are in
quarantine - winword password recovery tool, yellowpages, and wildtangent
(which is my avast I think)

any insight on how to fix spycatcher to allow ME to access paypal from MY
websites?? wonder why it only does this on my websites and not others sites
with paypal that I access????

weird!

Pam

ps.... the last spy alert reads that its in
:\windows\system32\winrnr.dll - does that help?

Just one other thing - I looked in Tenebril Spycatcher kill application log
it has one item over and over and over it has a red x and says Could not
delete (C:\windows\system32\winmr.dll)

however, it has a green check and says Will delete
(C:\windows\system32\winmr.dll) on reboot

any ideas??

I'd contact Spycatcher support - http://www.tenebril.com/support/ It's a
paid program, and they should be able to help you.

BTW, right now on the site you mention, I don't see any PayPal links and all
but one of the "buy" links under the prices are missing (red x). One says
"subscribe" under the second item - "basil, sweet" FWIW. Wait - after a few
refreshes, the "buy now" links are back - but that one still says
"subscribe". Guess you are working on things as I write.
