nv4_disp something about dumping physical memory.does anyone have any
suggestions?

Your hint is in 'nv4_disp', this is an nVidia display adapter driver.
Go to http://www.nvidia.com and download the latest driver for your
particular graphics card, and install this.
NOTE: if this 'dell' is a laptop! you should NOT use nVidia's driver, but
get the latest driver from Dell.com instead!
Just like Windows, other devices and drivers need periodic updates.

Its an graphic driver issue some times could be a hardware problem.Go
to nVidia homepage download and install the latest driver. If this
didnt resolve the problem open the desktop chasis and reseat the
graphic card then try again.still no luck call dell tech support .also
post this question in dell forums -hardware general.
