Pause before narration too long. How do I edit timing?

I have created a power point presentation and added narration (my voice).
When I play the show, the narration does not start until :06 of the slide.
How can I edit this? Thanks for any help.

In your animation task pane, in the Effects tab, set the audio to Start
Playin After :06 seconds.

Now it starts after 12 seconds!! I need to edit 6 seconds from the
beginning of the slide! Any help????

hi,
did your wave start at 0"00 when opened with SoundRecorder?
if not, you can erase the blank at the begining :
edit; cut (or erase ?) before ...
