PATH ?

Hi,

Windows XP Pro

I need to add something to the "path" to run an old DOS application.

From a command prompt window I can type PATH and see it but cannot find an
autoexec.bat to edit.

Can you tell me where to add to the path?

Thanks, Dana

You can add it into the Windows Environment.

Start | Settings | Control Panel | System

Then click on the Advanced tab and then click the Environment Variables
button at the bottom of the screen.
Either add it to the System Variables version of PATH or your own version in
the top box.

I am not sure if you need to restart for those changes to take effect, but
you will need to restart the command window at least.

OK I found the PATH already existed under here. I was able to add to it.

Thanks !

Dana
