Path dialogue box that shows up in ppt

How do I get rid of the path dialogue box that shows up in ppt. When I create
a hyperlink and move my mouse to click on it, a box shows up showing me the
path.

Is there a way to have that not show up. My presentation is shown on a large
screen and I would like that not to show.

Also, after that another box show up telling me that some files contain
viruses and do I trust the file. is there a way of turning that off also.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks - Richard.

Edit the hyperlink and put some alternate text into the Screen Tip box.
PowerPoint should show you this instead of the file path.
